The University has been invited to submit applications for the Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Output Awards (Science and Technology), which are established by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to recognise outstanding researchers and project teams from tertiary institutions in China.  The Awards are classified into 3 major categories, including the Natural Science Award (自然科學獎), Technological Invention Award (技術發明獎), and Scientific and Technological Progress Award (科學技術進步獎).
